RECORDED IN MATTHEW 6:9-13

JESUS, I am a sinner. I confess and acknowledge today that I’m lost. Thank You for paying for my sins on the cross. Although I deserve to go to hell, I do not have to go there. Please forgive all my sins. Cleanse my with Your blood. Hold me in Your righteousness and make me a new person. I invite You into my life. I give my life to You to do with as You please. I take it as fact that I’m forgiven and that I’m cleansed with Your blood, and that I’m a new person now and I’m starting a new life as a born-again Christian, and from this moment I’m Your child. I now declare that You are the LORD of my life.

Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, I beg You for mercy and forgiveness of all my sins.

I confess with my mouth, and believe in my heart that JESUS CHRIST is You Son, who died on the cross at Calvary for my sins, in order for me to have eternal life in Your Heavenly Kingdom. Forgive me all my sins.

FATHER, I believe that JESUS CHRIST rose from the dead, I now plead with You to come into my life, and be the KING of my life. I accept You as my Savior. Please enter my life and help me to fully serve You in all seriousness for the rest of my life.

YOUR WORD are true and I believe that my sins are forgiven through the blood of JESUS CHRIST. I’m now a born-again Christian through the influence of the HOLY SPIRIT, who wil henceforth teach, guide and shelter me. In the wonderful NAME of our Savior JESUS CHRIST, thank You wonderful, gracious, almighty FATHER.

JESUS, I need You. Thank You that you died on the cross for my sins. I’m now opening my heart and life and inviting You to be my LORD and SAVIOR. Thank You for forgiving me my many sins and for giving me eternal life. Make me the person You want me to be.

Our FATHER in heaven, provide for those with appetite, but no food. Be with those that have food, but no appetite. Bless us that have appetite and food and let us be sincerely grateful.

We thank You our FATHER in the name of our Savior JESUS CHRIST.

During real repentance of sin and surrender to God, a sinner is cleansed of all injustices and sin. Through faith in JESUS CHRIST as your SAVIOR, we become a new creature with the HOLY SPIRIT in our hearts. The old effects might still be there, like financial problems, lonelyness, heartach, illness, or one of the tens of thousands other things, because we live in a broken world, but unlike previously, GOD is now in charge of your heart and life. HE is Almighty and wil guide and help you through or around your problems. HE will bring HIS will to fulfillment in your life. As believers we can accept the promise in Romans 8 namely: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Tha Bible, GOD’s WORD, through the HOLY SPIRIT, we learn everything we need to proceed and enthusiastically live life infaith.

As we, GOD ’s children, approach HIM daily in prayer, and read HIS WORD, HE will increasingly reveal HIMSELF to us. In HIS WORD we learn about HIS Love, Joy, Peace, and HIS victory over sin. The working of HIS HOLY SPIRIT in and through our lives will become an increasing reality. GOD is no longer far in the distance somewhere. His omnipotence is increasingly manifested. He is a solid reality that affects our daily lives and create our actions.

Below are some things to look at you accepted the LORD and invited HIM into you heart and life:

Learn more about the LORD by reading the HIS WORD everyday. The time you spend reading the Bible can be as short as fifteen minutes at a time, but through faithful Bible study you will not only be able to help others, but it will help you to, with solid pace and with conviction, stay in the faith of Christianity. By visiting the LORD faithfully daily in your bedroom or prayerroom will stregthen your personal relationship with the LORD. There at HIS feet we learn what the LORD’s will is, what HE is preparing for us and what we must do. Ask GOD to strengthen your faith and to give you insight into HIS WORD. The HOLY SPIRIT will teach you and will comfort and guide you.

Tell others about your repentance and your new road of faith. Not only does GOD ask us in HIS WORD to talk to others about HIS grace and gift, but through practiicing discipleship, your faith, insight and gratitude grows, about this wonderful event and gift you received.

The Bible says: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” (Matthew 28:19)

JESUS HIMSELF was baptized. Thereby HE indicated that HE acted in full obedience to the FATHER. If you have not been baptized yet, visit a Christian preacher or pastor at your local church and ask what you need to do, to be baptized.

The value of religious friends who, for long time walked the road of faith, are of great importance. Other believers can be wonderful support in times of need when you need prayer, and they can also help one to know the Bible beter, because their Bible study experience cover many topics. A person who are saved, do not feel at home in company where GOD’s NAME are used in vain or where there are foul language, cursing and gossiping.

2 Timothy 3: 1 to 5 explain it as follows: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. “

Thus you should not be part of groups that displeases GOD. This does not honor HIM and will only be to your detriment.

In addition to reading the Bible daily, other literature will also be a wonderful privilege. Try literature about heroes and heroines of old as well as present-day, thus stories about people such as Joseph, Ruth, David, Esther and others in the Bible. Compare it to the contents found in the Bible. Through the knowledge of other believers actions and experiences, may lead to growth, knowledge, insight and wisdom. Sometimes one is inspired when seeing the faith, fidelity, self-discipline and sacrifice of other believers. The wonderful statements of missionaries are easier to come by these days. It is also very different, than about 25 to 30 years ago. Interesting sourses contributing to help understand the Bible’s content or text, like devotions, sermons, Bible translations, maps and discussions are more freely accessible. The Internet and books are aids to get insight on subjects we want to know more about. This communication media can be of great value.
